Daphne has a passion for innovations that enhance and extend human life. In addition, she also has a strong interest in value creation in emerging markets. Prior to joining D2M, Daphne has worked at several medical device companies of various stages in the US and in China. Daphne holds a BS in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, social dancing, rock climbing and various outdoor activities. Daphne speaks Mandarin and English fluently.
Chloe Mak, Business Development Specialist, D2M Asia
Chloe is based in D2M’s Hong Kong office and leads the office in managing suppliers, vendors, logistics, and sourcing. Her experience combined with her ability to communicate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin fluently enables her to act as a perfect liaison between clients, manufacturers and vendors.
Chloe supports numerous clients and provides business value as an Asia-based manufacturing, logistics and supply chain resource. She has leveraged her strong analytical and organizational skills and to help D2M’s clients meet their objectives in driving operational efficiency and cost savings.
Chloe studied Civil Engineering at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.
Neko Tsang, Administrative Assistant, D2M Asia
Neko is based in D2M’s Hong Kong office. She comes from a diverse professional background including customer service and public sector experience in industries including front-line banking, airline service and law enforcement. She also brings clerical, organizational and administrative experience from her most recent work at AT&T.
Neko speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English fluently and has an associate degree in Leisure and Tourism Management from City University of Hong Kong.
Alex Lee, Quality Engineering Manager, D2M Asia
Alex is based in D2M’s Hong Kong office. He has 15 years of experience in managing, overseeing and advising numerous clients and suppliers on quality management systems and processes and driving quality through all phases of product development from design to production. His approach has been to work with cross-functional teams, including the engineering, manufacturing, and client teams, to understand and establish critical QA engineering, reliability and compliance requirements and then ensuring that target metrics are met.
Prior to joining D2M Asia, Alex worked as a Quality Manager on consumer electronic products including digital cameras and heart rate monitors for Oregon Scientific, netbooks for Litl, and Flip Video digital video cameras and accessories for Cisco Systems.
Alex graduated from University of Liverpool with a Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Kevin Tse, Manufacturing Program Manager, D2M Asia
Kevin is based in D2M’s Hong Kong office and brings over 12 years of project management experience in the consumer electronic industry with a diverse range of companies from local businesses to leading MNC and world class manufacturers. He has led cross-functional international product development and NPI teams from both the supplier side and client side.
His product experience has included work on a RF timepiece for RadioShack/TCM, digital cameras for Oregon Scientific, mobile phone housings for Nokia and Flip Video digital video cameras for Cisco Systems.
Kevin has a Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering from HK Polytechnic University and earned a Master Degree in Engineering Business Management from University of Warwick.
Po Chan, Product Development Manager, D2M Asia
Po is based in D2M’s Hong Kong office and brings over 15 years of deep experience in consumer OEM & ODM product project management and brings a wide range of skills including Mechanical Design, Project Development and Manufacturing Management. By combining his expertise in Mechanical Engineering with his understanding of the limitations and capabilities in the manufacturing process, he is able to effectively help a client manage risks and trade-offs against design and product requirements to deliver successful products. Po also has deep knowledge in manufacturing processes for plastic tooling structure design and injection processes.
His prior work spanned a variety electronic products including mechanical design and DFM of digital video recorders and accessories for Cisco/Flip Video, netbooks for Litl, digital cameras, voice recorders and mp3 players for Oregon Scientific, PDA’s for Seiko, Sharp, Toshiba and electronic toys for Toys and for Bandai, Tomy, and SSD.
Po has a higher diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Chris Au, Product Development Manager, D2M Asia
Chris is based in D2M’s Hong Kong office and brings in-depth mechanical engineering experience in product design and product development from concept to manufacturing. Chris has strong injection molding knowledge and extensive, practical experience in manufacturing.
Prior to D2M, Chris led a team at ITEM where he worked closely with the China, U.S., and client teams in the product development of consumer electronic and medical products. His product experience has included designing a water purifier system for Zuvo Water, designing a MP3 player for Polaroid, performing DFM for Stanley Works, and running project management and DFM of a medical device for Nurotherm.
Chris is a Six Sigma Green Belt, has PPAP training and has a higher diploma in Manufacturing Engineering from Hong Kong technical college.
